Resident Life
Resident well-being
Resident well-being is a core priority of our program. We recognize the demands of medical training and are committed to fostering a supportive and balanced environment. To that end, we offer a range of wellness initiatives, including quarterly wellness half-days, access to confidential mental health services, peer support groups, and faculty mentorship. Residents also have opportunities to participate in wellness workshops, mindfulness sessions, and team-building activities throughout the year. Our goal is to create a culture where residents feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive both personally and professionally.

Wellness Days
Residents are provided with a half-day of wellness time each quarter. During this time, they are relieved of all clinical responsibilities and may use the time as they see fit. Wellness days must be scheduled during elective blocks only.
