Dr. Amir Kichloo has 15 years of extensive experience as an Internal Medicine physician, with over 13 years dedicated to graduate medical education. He completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center in New York and has been practicing as a hospitalist for 15 years. Dr. Kichloo previously served as Program Director for a non-accredited hospitalist fellowship for five years and currently chairs the Ethics Committee at Sanford Health in Bismarck.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kichloo has demonstrated a deep passion for educating and mentoring resident physicians. He is committed to fostering an interdisciplinary, inter-professional learning environment that emphasizes high-quality care, patient safety, and resident wellness. His leadership and dedication to both clinical excellence and medical education make him a vital part of our residency program.

As the Program Administrator, Katelyn plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the residency program. She is involved in recruitment, rotation scheduling, onboarding, and administrative coordination. In addition to these responsibilities, Katelyn actively supports program leadership in strategic planning and long-term program development. Katelyn has a passion for resident success and is a dedicated advocate for both the operational excellence of the program and the well-being of its residents. Her approachable nature and attention to detail make her a valued resource and consistent support for our trainees.

Dr. Canham completed her Internal Medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where she trained at the renowned Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She currently practices as a primary care physician in our Internal Medicine Clinic, where she is deeply committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. Dr. Canham has a strong passion for teaching and plays an active role in mentoring and educating residents. She is also a dedicated advocate for the growing need for well-trained primary care physicians, particularly in underserved and rural communities. Her clinical expertise and enthusiasm for medical education make her an invaluable member of our faculty.

Dr. Kurniali completed his Internal Medicine residency at Boston University School of Medicine (Roger Williams Medical Center) and his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Michigan State University. He is actively involved in research focused on advancing cancer care and is known for his empathy and meticulous attention to detail in treating patients. Dr. Kurniali is also passionate about teaching and plays a key role in mentoring residents within the Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Bhaja Shrestha completed his Internal Medicine residency at New York Medical College Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York and went on to pursue fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He brings expertise in managing complex pulmonary and critically ill patients, along with a strong commitment to medical education. Dr. Shrestha plays an active role in teaching and mentoring residents, and is valued for his clinical knowledge, thoughtful approach, and dedication to excellence in patient care.

Dr. Limani completed his residency training at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and went on to complete a fellowship in Hospital Medicine at the University of North Dakota (UND). He is currently practicing as a hospitalist at Sanford Health in Bismarck, where he also serves as the Chair of the Department of Medicine and leads the Medical Peer Review Committee. Known for his exceptional mentoring, Dr. Limani plays a key role in guiding residents through their clinical training, offering valuable insights and support as they develop into skilled physicians. His leadership, clinical expertise, and commitment to resident education make him an invaluable member of the residency program.
