ABIM Board Prep

Stipend for board preparation

PGY3 residents receive a $3,000 stipend to be used toward attending a Board Review course of the resident's choice.

MKSAP Complete subscription

MKSAP 19 is the comprehensive learning management system that residents and practicing physicians have relied on to assess their knowledge, stay current in medicine, use as a clinical reference in their daily practice, and prepare for their Board exams.

ACP In-Training Examination

Modeled after the ABIM Certification Exam, the IM-ITE is the strongest-known predictor of exam performance. Our residents take the ACP In Training Examination (ITE) annually. We use these results to personalize our recommendations for board prep for each resident.

    • Residents can choose to enroll in a mentored and monitored study program.
    • UND medical school provides consultation with an educational specialist for those who are interested in working with a professional to optimize test taking and studying strategies.

NEJM Knowledge+

NEJM Knowledge+ Internal Medicine Board Review is developed by and for internal medicine physicians. The adaptive learning platform allows internal medicine residents to learn at the resident's own pace, strengthening critical thinking and metacognitive skills. Residents take the NEJM annual supplemental board-style exam each spring.
