Advancing Educational Innovation and Scholarship (AEIS)

Please visit Teaching, Learning, & Scholarship for current and upcoming faculty development and scholarship events.

Past AEIS sessions are available by clicking on the titles of each event below.

This workshop is a follow up to the ER corner published 1.26.17

In the previous ER corners and AEIS workshops, you’ve learned about the first two “triple aims” of healthcare education: 1) the identification of real-world, behavioral outcomes and the generation of measurable learning objectives that align with those outcomes. Join Dr. Richard Van Eck, Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning, for a faculty development workshop on the third part of the educator's triple aim:  Assessment.

  • Participants will learn:

    • About different modes of assessment (rubrics, multiple choice, etc.)

    • How to set standards for performance and mastery

    • How to create multiple items that measure the same objective in different ways

This workshop is the last of the three related workshops on Healthcare Education's triple aim.

This workshop will be available for participation from off-site.

  • Watch recorded session at your convenience.

Contact Shae Samuelson at 701-777-6150 or shae.samuelson@med.und.edu for any questions.

This workshop is a follow up to the ER corner published 12.16.16
