Locations & Facilities
Although based in Grand Forks, the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences maintains campus offices in Fargo, Bismarck, and Minot, and manages a robust rural outreach program.
The Grand Forks building houses North Dakota's most active Simulation Center, which not only helps healthcare students of all backgrounds perfect their clinical skills but provides simulation training to health workers across the state via its Simulation in Motion-North Dakota (SIM-ND) program.
Our staff and facilities notwithstanding, the School could not function without the generous support of our clinical faculty, who teach students of all disciplines not only in the state's primary urban centers, but at clinics and critical access hospitals in rural locations throughout North Dakota.
The School also manages or partners with a number of research facilities across the state.
Note: all SMHS facilities discourage the use of perfumes, colognes, and other strong fragrances in the facilities. For more information on chemical sensitivities and scent-based allergic reactions, watch this SMHS "Fragrance Panel" from 2022.
