Categorical Clinical Site and Rotation
Clinical Sites
The clinical site affiliated with our traditional M.L.S. program are not the clinical sites affiliated with our categorical program. Students are responsible for finding their own clinical site for this program. Typically, students complete clinical rotations at the laboratory where they are employed.
Before a student is admitted to the categorical program, proper paperwork must be completed. Completion of this paperwork can take months so please start this process early. We will evaluate the categorical program paperwork to ensure that the potential clinical site meets our programs' requirements and can provide the appropriate educational experience. For more information, please contact the categorical program coordinator; Chris Triske.
Clinical Rotation
Each categorical certificate has a minimum of two courses that have corresponding clinical rotations which are completed at a sponsoring, UND M.L.S. categorical program approved clinical site. UND will provide the site with a layout of what is to be emphasized during the rotation, along with evaluation forms and instructions for completing evaluation forms. If your potential site wants specific rotation details (length, objectives, etc..) please contact the categorical program coordinator, Chris Triske.
