Staff Occupational Therapist
A staff occupational therapist is responsible for creating effective individual treatments for a group of specific clients and managing each case. Each occupational therapist has a school-based and clinic-based caseload. Each therapist shows capacity to work remotely (telehealth model) and in-person at both the clinic and school setting. Each therapist completes daily documentation, periodic re-evaluation, and meetings with parents and other professionals involved in their assigned caseload. This open position is for a full-time occupational therapist for the Health Service Agency Medical Therapy Program. Under medical direction, the occupational therapist plans and performs therapy for clients ranging in age from birth to 21 years who are eligible for services through the Medical Therapy Program, including but not limited to neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and muscular diseases.
