Undergraduate Research Poster Session

Dozens of students capped off their summer research experiences at the School of Medicine & Health Sciences in late July when a collection of undergraduate research programs partnered up to present the School’s annual Summer Undergraduate Research Poster Session. Hear from three of the undergraduates involved in this year's programs on what the experience meant to them.

Indigenous Health Summer Seminar

Each summer, first and second-year students in the University of North Dakota's Indigenous Health Ph.D. Program gather in Grand Forks for a week of networking and community celebration. Hear from two students and one of this year's Ph.D. graduates on what the program's summer seminar means to them.

Simulation in Motion - North Dakota (SIM-ND) Vans 

Simulation in Motion - North Dakota (SIM-ND), the state's only mobile medical simulation program, is on the road again with the first of what will eventually be four "sprinter" style simulation vans modeled on the slightly smaller, more agile ambulances typically seen on the streets of larger cities. Hear from SIM-ND Operations Manager Tawni Harvala on what the vans mean for the program and for North Dakotans.

White Coat Ceremony

Shalom Onyeka, a Grand Forks, North Dakota native, was one of nearly 80 first-year University of North Dakota medical students honored at this year's 'White Coat Ceremony.' Hear from her after she took the next step in her healthcare journey alongside the M.D. Class of 2030.
