Leading O.T. School
The Department of Occupational Therapy at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences is one outstanding program with two campus locations – Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Casper, Wyoming. The Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program at the University of North Dakota has been ranked in the top 20% of occupational therapy programs in the United States, as reported by the 2024 U.S. News and World Report (USNWR). These rankings are determined through a national peer assessment process, in which our peers across the country have acknowledged our program as a leading institution in the field of occupational therapy education.
- Our Grand Forks, ND location was established in 1954 and initially accredited in 1956.
- Our satellite program in Casper, WY was developed in 1993 and initially accredited in 1995.
Accredited O.T.D. Program
The entry level Occupational Therapy Doctorate program at both sites has been granted Accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education. The program will be up for reaccreditation in the 2028/29 academic year.
