Additional Information on Expenses

  • Students are required to secure and maintain personal health insurance prior to and through enrollment. The insurance plan is required to cover basic health care charges plus emergency care. This information must be uploaded into the VCI system. The North Dakota University System does not offer a health Insurance plan for domestic students. Students may choose to access resources for health insurance via the University of North Dakota Student Health Services website.

  • Dislocation costs should also be considered including travel costs to and from ND or to areas of clinical learning sites if outside one's home area. Costs will vary depending on regional availability and the student's personal needs. While on campus food and lodging costs run approximately $1500 per didactic session.
  • Upon completion of the Program, there is an expense to take the National Certification Exam. At present, the cost of that exam is $550.
  • Policies and procedures for billing and refunds of tuition and fees are found on the One-Stop Student Services website. (A1.02k 5th ed. and A1.02h 6th ed.*)
