Incoming Medical Student Portal
Upon an offer of acceptance, you will receive an email inviting you to the Incoming Medical Student Portal. You must complete all requirements through the portal by the stated deadlines. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please contact the Office of Student Affairs & Admissions.
Claim Your Account
Within 5-7 business days of completing the Data Sheet in the Incoming Student Portal, you will be able to Claim Your Account. This is how you create your login information for UND systems, including your UND email account.
Financial Aid
To be considered for federal financial aid, you must complete the FAFSA. Information regarding School of Medicine & Health Scineces scholarships will be sent to the email listed on your AMCAS application in early March or upon an offer of acceptance, whichever occurs later. Additional financial aid information is available on our website.
RuralMed
RuralMed is a state-sponsored program designed to increase the number of physicians practicing in rural North Dakota. Students accepted for RuralMed will have the cost of tuition paid for in return for practicing in rural North Dakota. Visit RuralMed for additional information.
Housing
The UND Apartment Community includes over 600 conveniently located apartments. They are especially proud of our diverse population and enjoy serving UND students, families, and faculty pursuing education and research on campus. Residency for Tuition
If you are interested in becoming a North Dakota resident, carefully review the Residency Information for important eligibility requirements and deadline information.
Registration
The Office of Student Affairs & Admissions will send out information regarding registering for classes and the steps involved in June.
Intro to Medicine
The fall semester begins with Intro to Medicine on Monday, July 6, 2020. The Office of Student Affairs & Admissions will send out information regarding this beginning in April.
White Coat Ceremony
The White Coate Ceremony has been canceled. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
Academic Calendar
In late spring, the academic calendar for the upcoming year becomes available. Once available, it will be posted here.
Technology & Laptop Requirements
A laptop is required and must meet minimum specifications.
Technical Standards Form
Accepted students must complete the Technical Standards form no later than July 3, 2020.
