Histology Core
The Histology Core in SMHS suite W162, allows investigators to access the equipment and technical expertise to prepare samples for a wide variety of high-resolution imaging techniques.
The Core technical staff provide training and assistance in tissue preparation, microtomy and sample preparations for specific types of morphological analyses, and selection of the appropriate levels of imaging resolution.

Hours of Operation and Location
The Histology Core is located within Suite W162 on the first floor of the UND School of Medical and Health Sciences. Normal working hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The CM1520 Cryostat is designated for BSL-2 tissue only and is located in room W157C on the first floor of the UND School of Medical and Heath Sciences.
