- Jessi received her A.S. in Radiologic Technology from Northland Community & Technical College, her B.S. in Applied Health from the University of Minnesota Crookston, and her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Mary. In her role as program administrator for the Simulation Center and SIM-ND, Jessi oversees all of the simulation operations within the School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the mobile simulation units. This includes marketing, scheduling, financial, human resources, and instructional delivery methods.

- Rachel Osowski is a 2010 graduate of the University of North Dakota. She has a B.A in Social Science and a minor in Health Education. Rachel is the Standardized Patient Program Coordinator. She oversees and assists the coordinating, training and coaching of standardized patients for clinical skills teaching and assessment activities for the SMHS medical student curriculum. Rachel also oversees the SHaPE program which is dedicated to assisting the third-year medical students with their continuing education of history and physical exam skills while they are participating in their clerkships throughout the state of North Dakota.

- Erin received her BUS with a minor in Health and Wellness from NDSU. She has 12 years of Massage Therapy experience, practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist and specializing in Orthopedic and Therapeutic massages. Erin is the Standardized Patient Program Assistant. In her role, Erin assists in coordinating, training, and coaching standardized patients for clinical skills teaching and assessment activities for the SMHS medical student curriculum. Additionally, Erin manages the MSIII SHaPE program for the the 3rd year medical students.

- Tawni graduated with her ADN from Northland Community and Technical College in 2016. She has been an RN since then in the Emergency Department. While working in the ED, Tawni was a preceptor to nursing students and new staff as well as a charge nurse. In the winter of 2018, she joined the SIM-ND team as a facilitator. In early 2021, she was cross-trained to the Critical Care Unit, then in spring of 2021 the Flight team as well. She continues to work PRN for Flight and ED as her schedule allows. She is also a member of ENA and SSIH. Tawni is the SIM-ND Coordinator at the Simulation Center. In her role, she assists with needs assessment, curriculum design and implementation, and simulation education classes. She also assists with SIM-ND day-to-day operations and administration, including coordinating maintenance and repair on the SIM-ND vehicles, overseeing manikin moulage and AV and simulator back-up support.

- Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UND in 2012. She has 6 years of experience as a Registered Nurse—3 years in Cardiac/Telemetry and 3 years in Emergency Medicine. At the Simulation Center, Courtney collaborates with the team on development of simulation courses and curriculum design, teaches/instructs Simulation Center education and faculty development courses, and oversees assessment and evaluation of the simulation curriculum in collaboration with Simulation Center staff and Education Resources personnel.

Tim has over 30 years' experience as a Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP) in a hospital based Advanced Life Support ambulance service and is Critical Care certified. He is certified instructor by the American Heart Association to teach ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), & BLS (Basic Life Support). He is also a specialized instructor for ICS (Incident Command Systems), WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction), and a certified ND EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Instructor. He is in charge of creating medical reality in our simulations through moulage. Additionally, he is the Medical Operations Director for the SIM-ND program.

Colette holds a master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis in Public Health. She has 45 years of experience working in multiple areas of health care. At the Simulation Center Colette leads the implementation of the Simulation In Motion (SIM) governance structure, which includes organizing meetings, keeping records, and facilitiating projects. She also collaborates with the Simulation Center staff working on projects and facilitiating for SIM-ND.

At the Simulation Center Briana assists with the coordination of the day-to-day operations of the Simulation Center. This includes scheduling, organizing the operational logistics of simulation events and Center meetings, preparing/distributing materials, maintaining inventory and general staff support.
