Biostats researchers will be assigned projects based on staff availability and content
expertise.
Payment
UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences (SMHS) researchers will receive four hours of biostats support free per year. For additional hours, costs for biostats services can be covered in one of two ways:
- By placing the appropriate percent of effort of the statistician’s salary on a grant or contract.
- By paying an hourly rate for services.

Authorship and acknowledgment
It is expected that the Biostats Core staff will be strongly considered for authorship on any collaborative products completed with the assistance of core staff.
