Accessing the Biostats Core
The Biostats Core is available to UND SMHS faculty, staff, students, medical residents, and area healthcare providers to engage in academic, clinical, and translational research.
Requests for Services
All interested PIs must complete a Biostatistics Core Request Form with as much information as possible regarding the details of the request. All submissions will be responded to within 3 business days of receipt. Once initial review is complete, staff from the Biostats Core will set up time with PIs to discuss the request including timeframes, deliverables, staff allocation, and a preliminary time estimate. A final cost estimate will be provided to PIs prior to any work being completed.
All PIs are encouraged to review the Getting Started Guide for useful information regarding conducting research through the University.
Payment
- UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences (SMHS) researchers will receive four hours
of biostats support at no cost per year. For additional hours, costs for biostats
services can be covered in one of two ways:
- By placing the appropriate percent of effort's salary and fringe on a grant or contract.
- By paying an hourly rate for services. University approved rates are included below.
