Online M.P.H. Degree Programs
The UND Public Health Program offers the M.P.H. degree with specializations in:
- Health Management & Policy via asynchronous online, synchronous online or on-campus formats.
- Indigenous Health via asynchronous online or synchronous online formats.
- Population Health Research & Analytics via a hybrid asynchronous/synchronous online or on-campus formats.
The Public Health Program also offers dual degree options:
- Accelerated B.S./M.P.H. allowing students to complete both a bachelor's and master's degree in public health from anywhere in the world in just five years.
- J.D./M.P.H degree that allows you to specialize in a master's program while getting a jump start on law school. You complete both degrees in four years rather than five years — a savings in time and money.
Graduate Certificate Programs
The M.P.H. program also offers a 12 -13 credit graduate certificate in three areas of emphasis: Indigenous Health, Population Health Research & Analytics and General Public Health. The certificate is designed for people who desire formal training in an aspect of public health, without the M.P.H. degree. All credits from a certificate program can be transferred into the M.P.H. program.

Students have the option of selecting one of three specializations in the MPH degree.

A degree in Public Health opens the door for a variety of different jobs. UND's Master of Public Health Program has a 100% graduate employment rate in health-related careers. The Bureau of Labor Statistics revealed that this area of employment is rising faster than the national average and by the year 2020, the United States is expected to have over 250,000 new job openings in the field of Public Health. Also, more than 50% of the US’s fastest growing jobs are in public health with an M.P.H..
