Procedures, Processes and Administrative Policies

  • This process describes how salary savings from a faculty member's appropriated budgeted salary are utilized when a portion of that salary is paid by (temporarily moved to) grants from a funding agency.

  • The Office of Medical Accreditation shall establish processes and procedures in order to ensure UND SMHS medical education program compliance with LCME accreditation standards and elements.

  • An affiliation agreement is a legally binding agreement (contract) that sets forth the terms and conditions under which the University of North Dakota and a facility/organization agree to furnish education, training, or clinical experiences that are integral to a specific institutional academic degree or course objective.

  • The University of North Dakota’s policy notes that faculty and staff members with appointments of 50% or more of their primary professional commitment to the University of North Dakota, other part-time faculty members, and staff members commensurate with their appointments shall complete a conflict of interest form. The SMHS both contracts with, as well as employs, key positions. SMHS has defined those applicable appointments that should be included in the list required to complete a conflict of interest form.
