School of Medicine & Health Sciences medical students receive scholarships

GRAND FORKS, N.D.—The University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences (SMHS) is pleased to announce that more than $260,000 in scholarships has been awarded to 84 UND medical students for the 2017–2018 academic year. Funds for the scholarships come from private sources, endowments, and other awards, and have helped the School lower SMHS medical student debt from well above the national average to below the national average compared with all other U.S. medical schools.
