Grove named American Association for Anatomy Fellow

grove

The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) has announced its 2024 award recipients, one of which is Dr. Bryon Grove, associate professor in the SMHS Department of Biomedical Sciences.

Specifically, Grove is one of only six faculty nationwide to have been named a 2024 Fellow of the AAA.

“The American Association for Anatomy has been my professional home for my entire career," said Grove. "It is a wonderful, welcoming academic organization devoted to the anatomical sciences and I am honored to receive this recognition from my colleagues and friends.”

The American Association for Anatomy is an international membership organization of biomedical researchers and educators specializing in the structural foundation of health and disease. It connects anatomists, neuroscientists, developmental biologists, biological anthropologists, cell biologists, and physical therapists to advance the anatomical sciences through research, education, and professional development.

Additional biographical information on each award recipient can be found on the AAA website. Award recipients will be recognized at the Anatomy Connected conference in Toronto, Canada, in March 2024.
