Holly Brown-Borg
Principal Investigator
Dr. Brown-Borg received her Ph.D. in Physiology from North Carolina State University. She was a Research Associate in Physiology at Southern Illinois University as well as a Research Associate in Endocrinology at the USDA ARS MARC. Her main research focus is understanding the pathways and mechanisms utilized by hormones that lead to delayed aging and less age-related disease. Reduced signaling of the somatotropic axis results in increased cellular stress resistance, maintenance of a young DNA methylation profile, increased health span and extended life span in mice.
