What does SIM-ND offer?

Rural healthcare teams face unique challenges, including long transport times, limited staffing, and reduced access to specialty care.

SIM-ND supports rural readiness by offering

  • Team-based emergency training in a familiar environment

  • Realistic patient scenarios tailored to rural practice

  • Opportunities to practice low frequency but high-mortality events

  • Training at no cost to healthcare workers or first responders in North Dakota

SIM-ND delivers high-fidelity simulation scenarios using adult, pediatric, neonatal, and obstetric mannequins. Training topics include

  • Obstetric and neonatal emergencies
