Resident Life

We’ve designed a program with resident life as a top priority.

Residents

Customize Your Education

We understand that each resident that enters our program has different learning goals and expectations for the Transitional Year. Our curriculum is built with that in mind. Each resident has the opportunity and freedom to tailor their education to fit their individual learning goals and provide them with experiences that fit their future specialty.

Curriculum

Camaraderie with Fellow Residents

We strive to foster an environment of support and inclusion within our program and institution. Residents can expect to experience a collegial, experiential, and hands-on learning environment inclusive of peers not only in our TY program, but also from the University of North Dakota’s numerous other residency and fellowship programs (Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Hematology-Oncology, and Geriatric Medicine). The camaraderie felt among residents in all these programs is frequently noted and is something we are proud to highlight.
